Tellson's Bank by Temple Bar was an oldfashioned place, even in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty. It was very small, very dark, very ugly, very incommodious.
It was an oldfashioned place, moreover, in the moral attribute that the partners in the House were proud of its smallness, proud of its darkness, proud of its ugliness, proud of its incommodiousness. They were even boastful of its eminence in those particulars, and were fired by an express conviction that, if it were less objectionable, it would be less respectable. This was no passive belief, but an active weapon which they flashed at more convenient places of business.

I'm not able to comment on the specific problems with Volume 12, but as recently as last week I was discussing the issues with Harry Weinger, and can assure you we haven't abandoned the project. It's on hold. Gordy made sure that he owned everything he put out; live and learn. Thanks Keith. The released titles are no problem, but any pointers as to where I might find the info on MoWest ?
If you or anyone else has such information, please let me know. Ritchie and I were rather preening ourselves over the fact that this edition of DFTMC contains an index by Artist as well as by Title - an immense amount of extra work for Ritchie, which accounts for the delay in producing the new edition. Maybe an index by Release will feature in future editions, if Ritchie can stand it.
